Internal Sales Executive - Accrington

An Internal Sales Executive is required for a leading global manufacturing / distribution company based in East Lancashire. We are looking for someone who is able to maximise opportunities, maximise the effectiveness of the external sales professionals by producing high quality leads, conducting research on both companies and industry specific sectors as well as being an integral part of the internal corporate sales team. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and buzzy personality, a highly organised person who can bring their own flair into a driven company to support their growth. You will have the support from the Business Sales Manager and the tendering team. This is a brand new role with heaps of potential and development for the right person. 

Internal Sales Executive Job Duties:

  • Identifying new business opportunities by producing high quality leads and booking appointments for the Business Development Managers
  • Conduct internet and telephone based research to understand the company and its key decision makers 
  • Pro actively follow up leads, send out marketing literature, keeping the database / CRM fully updated with conversations and activity logs 
  • Diarise appointments, call backs and full conversation history to assist with keeping on track, making best use of the systems and timescales 
  • Build relationships with clients, fact find relevant information to feedback and support sales opportunities 
  • Work with efficiency and accuracy - often under pressure
  • Telemarketing activity - quality rather than quantity approach 

Internal Sales Executive Key Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Have an engaging personality to bond with your clients
  • Have the ability to fact find and conduct research to gather information to dive forward sales opportunities 
  • Reach out to the key decision makers  within large corporate businesses 
  • User of internal database or CRM systems
  • Strong organisational skills including diary management 
  • Highly motivated candidates with drive, excellent time management skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Be very much a people person with strong communication skills
  • Previous experience of internal sales and/or account management
