Square Peg Associates are working closely with one of the UK’s biggest designers, importers and distributors of clothing and accessories within the fashion industry.
Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager who currently sells into the high street.
The company has a proactive and energetic buying team and you have the opportunity to become a pivotal part of their growth, based at their head office in Manchester. If successful, you will be part of a growing team based at their head offices in the South Manchester.
Generate sales amongst client accounts, including up-selling and cross-selling
Manage existing clients and maintain and develop these relationships
Be heavily involved with the product development, sampling and deign briefs
Attend client meetings to discuss new and existing ranges and identify any missed opportunities
Managing the critical path and ensure that deliveries arrive on time, constantly tracking and chasing them
Carry out order checks / sample checking, garment sizing, raising any issues
Personal Skills & Experience:
You will have experience dealing with the high street
Have experience within a similar role and all round knowledge of Merchandising, Critical Path with Account Management and Sales
You will be commercially minded, having a good understanding of what is / isn't selling and how to maximise profitability.
Effective communicator, successful at building long term/profitable relationships
A high level of communication and negotiating skills are required to succeed in this position
Within this role, you must be prepared to do an element of merchandising.
