Square Peg Associates are working in partnership with an award-winning Accountancy Practice who is looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their offices in Blackburn; though travelling across their 3 sites across East Lancashire will be required.
The ideal Audit Senior will be looking to progress their career and will have experience of working on a wide range of accounting and auditing assignments.
Audit Senior Job Responsibilities
Identify risk matters and present to clients, in the office and at the client’s premises
Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business
Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Leading and running an audit process of client accounts from books and records
Carry our accounts preparation
Working on forecasting, grant claims and interim FD roles
Typical qualities of an Audit Senior:
AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified or working towards
Have strong accounting and audit skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a full UK driving license and own vehicle
