Duties involve:
  • Supporting the Transport Manager to ensure all functions of the operation run smoothly and efficiently
  • Day to day vehicle tracking and data input
  • De-briefing drivers
  • Vehicle downloads
  • Liaise with delivery/collection points
  • Preparing delivery notes for drivers
  • Monitoring driver performance
  • Assisting with scheduling MOTs
  • POD queries
  • Dealing with all drivers
  • Reporting vehicle/trailer breakdowns
  • Ensuring vehicle/trailer temperature check records are accurate and up to date
  • Liaison with customer delivery points
  • Basic customer queries
  • Vehicle/trailer defect administration
  • Route planning
  • Completing all auditable records required by the Company
You should have:
  • A strong eye for detail / accuracy
  • A good background working in a customer driven and administrative environment
  • Experience within a transport and logistics environment
  • Strong IT skills including Word & Excel
  • An excellent telephone manner, polite, friendly and informative
